Public Policy Committee

SPI works to make sure the industry’s present and future needs are an important consideration whenever legislation, regulation and public policy matters are being considered that could potentially impact the growth and sustainability of plastics.

Comprised of representatives from the industry sector Councils, the Public Policy Committee is responsible for the development of all policy that drives the advocacy efforts of SPI.

The Public Policy Committee further assists in the development and execution of political outreach initiatives that support the organization’s federal, state, international and regulatory advocacy activities.
