Dallas Regional Dinner and Plant Tour

On behalf of SPI: The Plastics Industry Trade Association, we invite you to a Plant Tour and Regional Dinner hosted by Dart Container Corporation on Wednesday, February 20, in Waxahachie, Texas. The Plant Tour begins at 6:00 p.m. with the reception and dinner to follow at 7:00 p.m. at Tuscan Slice Restaurant, minutes away from the plant.

Please do not miss this exclusive opportunity to tour one of Dart Container’s largest manufacturing and recycling facilities. Measuring over 1.6 million square feet and employing 620 employees, this facility manufactures over 100 different products including Dart’s foam dinnerware line of plain cups, printed cups, bowl containers, saucers, hinged trays, plates, extruded food containers and foam lids. Onsite are four extruders, six thermoforming lines, 320 cup machines and 60 printers. The recycling area, which is open to the public for post-consumer drop-off, has four densifiers and four bailers for cardboard, film and cores. This Dart facility has recycled over 3 million lbs. of foam products, cardboard and film from post-consumer and post-industrial usage.
