Determining Your Company’s Category

Welcome to the SPI membership dues calculator tool. This calculator will allow you to quickly determine your company’s dues* based upon company type and net sales. To get started, review the descriptions below and select your company’s category in the calculator to the right.

Note: If you are renewing your membership, please verify that the pre-populated selection in Step 1 is correct.

Equipment Manufacturer: Manufacturers of plastics machinery and components.

Material Suppliers: Manufacturers of raw materials, fillers, stabilizers, pigments, and other components to form plastic products.

Moldmaker: Manufacturers of plastic part molds.

Processor: Manufacturers of plastics products (injection molding, blow molding, thermoforming, extrusion, transfer molding, compression molding, etc.).

Recycler: Manufacturers of products processed from post - consumer plastics materials (can be combined and/or assembled with products made of non-plastics materials) OR material suppliers who convert postconsumer or post - industrial plastics into resin pellet/flake or feedstock.

Associate: Any foreign-based manufacturers with no U.S. sales OR the following types of companies: distributors or sales agents; retailers; or industrial service providers (transportation companies, contract packagers, warehouses, etc.).

Service Provider: Companies (such as publishing, educational, research, consulting partnerships or corporations, etc.) that devote a significant part of their efforts to the plastics industry  or render professional services (including, among others, financial institutions, insurance companies, software development, utilities and state economic development agencies).  Individuals engaged in educational, governmental, research or professional pursuits directly related to the development or utilization of plastics.

*The dues calculations are based on several variables. Companies are solely responsible for the accuracy of the data entered. While the calculations are expected to be accurate and  reliable, SPI reserves the right to validate dues calculations.
