Program Highlights

Lean Manufacturing Simulation Session. This presentation by the University of Kentucky Center for Robotics offered a powerful hands-on approach to understanding and implementing lean manufacturing through a combination of overviews, case examples, in-depth information in key areas and interaction.
Toyota Tour. Participants had the opportunity to see the lean manufacturing principles presented in the simulation sessions at work in this futuristic, state-of-the-art, surgically clean environment. The Toyota plant in Georgetown, Kentucky is the company's largest production facility outside of Japan.
