Congressman Ron Estes (R-KS-4) recently visited PLASTICS member Reiloy USA in Maize, Kansas. While there, Congressman Estes heard about the history of Reiloy and their contribution to the plastics industry. The impact of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) and potential changes to the program were discussed among several other important issues. Congressman Estes serves on the Committee on Education and Workforce as well as the Committee on Homeland Security. He is serving his first term having won a special election earlier this year to fill the seat that was vacated when Mike Pompeo was appointed director of the CIA. Prior to winning the special election, Congressman Estes served as state treasurer of Kansas and is an engineer by trade.
