This year's International Symposium on Worldwide Regulation of Food Packaging has a new workshop specifically designed to help those new to regulatory affairs gain critical skills to handle compliance and customer assurance. Experienced professionals will also polish skills and leave with helpful resources.

Hosted by the Plastics Industry Association (PLASTICS) Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Packaging Materials Committee (FDCPMC), the International Symposium on Worldwide Regulation of Food Packaging is a major biennial event where experts from government, industry and scientific institutions around the world convene to discuss regulatory obstacles to global marketing of food packaging materials and efforts to overcome those obstacles.

Regulatory authorities take this opportunity to compare their respective national and regional approaches to addressing emerging safety considerations for food packaging materials, taking into account the latest scientific developments and perspectives from industry presented by the global companies and trade associations in attendance.
