The Information Center serves as a "source of sources" for information on the plastics industry.

SPI specialists frequently are asked to identify member companies that supply particular products or services and their locations. While many questions are market-related, the Information Center responds to inquiries ranging from resin statistics and machinery to fabricated products. Responses are supported by marketing, technical, financial, and statistical data that are maintained on a current basis.

Every effort is made to provide specific answers. Sometimes, inquiries are referred to other trade associations, government agencies, consultants or the trade media.
