In addition to bringing its members together according to their place in the plastics supply chain, the Plastics Industry Association (PLASTICS) also brings members together locally through its four Regional Committees. At least one event is hosted in each region every year, giving PLASTICS members the opportunity to learn more about trends in the U.S. plastics industry, tour other facilities and grow their professional network while minimizing their travel costs.
The four Regional Committees are:
- The Northeast Regional Committee, covering Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island and Vermont.
- The Midwest Regional Committee, covering Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Dakota and Wisconsin.
- The South Regional Committee, covering Alabama, Arkansas, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia and West Virginia.
- The West Regional Committee, covering Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington and Wyoming.
