SPI Workforce Programs

SPI believes a skilled, knowledgeable and flexible work force is the key to competitiveness in the global economy.

SPI has developed national, voluntary certification examinations that assess and certify the knowledge and skills of plastics operations employees. The universal designation of NCP Certified Operator can be achieved through one of four test versions. SPI offers on-site training in injection molding and extrusion to prepare employees for the NCP exam.

Exciting new training opportunities are available for plastics employers and employees through the Society of the Plastics Industry's (SPI), Plastics Learning Network. Courses from qualified instructors are presented as on-site courses tailored to your work schedule. Courses currently available are Operator Training in Injection Molding and Extrusion.
