Equipment Manufacturers & Moldmakers

Equipment manufacturers and moldmakers engage in the Plastics Industry Association (PLASTICS) through the Equipment Council (EC), one of three industry segment councils that represent the plastics supply chain, end to end.

Why Equipment Manufacturers & Moldmakers Join the Plastics Industry Association

The Equipment Council works to increase the visibility of the moldmakers, plastics machinery and equipment manufacturing sector among the general public and throughout the plastics industry, to ensure that the needs of member companies in this category get the timely support they need to advance their business.

The Council houses the Committee on Equipment Statistics, which tracks and reports new orders and shipments of plastics machinery on a monthly and quarterly basis, and the Machinery Safety Standards Committee which develops standards and technical reports covering the manufacture, integration, care and use of plastics machinery or materials throughout the supply chain.
