Plastics: An Industry Worth Fighting For

This meeting will take a hard look at where the industry is and where it is going from the machinery and moldmakers perspective.

The theme of the 2020 Equipment and Moldmakers Leadership Summit is “Plastics: An Industry Worth Fighting For”

The conference will be kicked off by the Committee on Equipment Statistics (CES) Annual Meeting and a Machinery Safety Standards Meeting. The agenda is then filled with critical presentations on OHSA, the state of the economy, the government and tariffs,

CEO and President, Tony Radoszewski, will present an overall update on the industry and the new vision for PLASTICS. There will also be a panel on "Fighting for Our Image: Don’t Trash Plastic!" featuring the American Chemistry Council, Berry Global and ExxonMobil discussing important topics including chemical recycling, ambassador programs and their initiatives as members of the Alliance to End Plastic Waste. The agenda will be rounded out with the keynote, Major Lisa Jaster, the first female U.S. Army Reserve officer to become a Ranger School graduate, speaking on Leadership and Peak Performance.

The panel for this session will be discussing important topics including chemical recycling, ambassador programs and their initiatives as members of the Alliance to End Plastic Waste.

Additionally, PLASTICS is announcing a meeting of the Machinery Safety Technical Committee in conjunction with the 2020 Equipment and Moldmakers Leadership Summit in Louisville, Kentucky.  The main purpose of the meeting will be to review progress on PLASTICS’ Standards five-year work plan and appointing leadership for coming projects. PLASTICS standards meetings are open to all interested parties.
