Mon March 6, 2017
A resolution, S. Res. 64, honoring the Plastics Industry Association’s 80th anniversary was introduced in the U.S. Senate on February 17 by Senator Ron Johnson (R-WI). Senator Johnson introduced the resolution at the request of PLASTICS staff. Prior to his election to the Senate in 2010, Senator Johnson, along with his brother-in-law, was the cofounder of PACUR, a plastics sheet extruder located in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. PLASTICS will report on the legislative progress of the resolution as well as the introduction of the same resolution in the House of Representatives. S. Res. 64 can be found here.
