For the first time ever, SPI's Flexible Film and Bag Conference will be co-hosted by several North American organizations: SPI's Flexible Film and Bag Division; the Flexible Film Recycling Group of the American Chemistry Council; the Western Plastics Association; ANIPAC (the Mexican Plastics Trade Association) and the Canadian Plastics Industry Association (CPIA)

This must-attend conference will bring together the entire flexible film supply chain for an innovative education and networking program on all aspects of the industry.   

Sessions will begin on Tuesday, April 20 with a keynote presentation followed by a full-day session and a half day of sessions on Wednesday, April 21. Dynamic presentations, panel discussions and other formats will be offered.  

The North American Flexible Film and Bag Conference program committee is interested in:

•    Flexible film case studies and presentations related to trends, market opportunities and marketing best-practices.
•    Brand owner perspectives on moving from rigid to flexible.
•    Recycling and other end-of-life best practices for flexible films.
•    Forecasts and outlooks related to consumer and retail trends. 
•    Innovations that cover all aspects of flexible films from machinery to resin to converting processes.

Presentations should focus on the business aspects of the topics outlined, i.e. how the topics affect your business and opportunities for growth as they relate to these issues.


All submissions must include a brief title that captures the essence of the presentation. Please provide a short description (150 words or less), identifying the specific skills/knowledge to be gained by attendees. Submissions are due by Jan. 30.

NOTE: Presentations will be allotted a 25-30 minute time slot which will include oral presentation and audience interactions. Presentations should not sell, promote or pitch a specific product, service or company. Any proposal of a sales nature will be disqualified.
