2021 PLASTICS Spring Meeting

The 2021 PLASTICS Spring Meeting, is now taking place from May 17–19, 2021. This meeting is where hundreds of plastics professionals, experts, and industry partners gather to strategize for the association and the industry. Hosted virtually, experience three days of learning and growing with the association that leads and promotes the plastics industry.
Registered attendees will gain insights from leading industry and political experts and you can enjoy networking with your customers at our virtual cocktail reception on May 17, 2021. For some additional fun, join us for trivia night on May 18, 2021.

Bioplastics Division Meeting
The Bioplastics Division will meet to review and provide feedback on 2021 projects, receive updates on legislation and regulations that impact the industry, and discuss industry trends.
This meeting is open to all PLASTICS members. Members of the press are not permitted.

EHS+ Committee Meeting
The program includes presentations and conversations on operational environmental issues, worker health and safety, and chemicals management under the new administration; a member “before and after” experience with Operation Clean Sweep; management of change processes for non-routine work permitting; potential registration of polymers under EU REACH and more.

Recycling Committee Meeting
Please join us for the PLASTICS Recycling Committee meeting being held in conjunction with the PLASTICS Spring Meeting. At this meeting, we’ll be discussing current topics in recycling and hearing from each of the five subcommittees (Advanced Recycling, Advocacy & Communications, Events & Education, New End Market Opportunities, and Technology & Equipment) on their 2021 work plans.

Transportation & Industrial Plastic (TIP) Committee Meeting
Register for the PLASTICS Transportation and Industrial Plastics (TIP) Committee Meeting, held virtually through Zoom, to continue the robust conversation on new projects and plans for the committee. During the last virtual meeting, a variety of great ideas for projects and events were discussed including the development of guidelines for in-house scrap processing. The next TIP Committee meeting will continue the dialogue to generate critical projects and events for the committee.
