WASHINGTON, D.C. — NPE: The Plastics Show®, produced by the Plastics Industry Association (PLASTICS), will once again host the largest gathering of bioplastics companies in the Americas. 125 exhibitors across the bioplastics value chain will exhibit at NPE2027, as of September 2026, surpassing the number represented at NPE2024. With exhibit space still available, the roster is expected to continue growing.
From polymer producers and material innovators to equipment manufacturers, additive suppliers, distributors and recyclers, the NPE2027 lineup gives attendees a view of how bioplastics move from chemistry to commercial-scale production. Companies will showcase materials and systems supporting applications across packaging, consumer products, automotive, medical, agriculture, building and construction, and other key markets.
“Bioplastics are moving from material development into more applications and more scalable manufacturing processes. NPE2027 gives the industry a place to see that progress across the full value chain, from the chemistry behind new materials to the machinery, additives and expertise needed to process them. The breadth of this exhibitor lineup shows that the next generation of plastics is already taking shape,” said Patrick Krieger, Senior Vice President of Sustainability and Policy at PLASTICS.
Innovation Across the Bioplastics Value Chain
The current NPE2027 exhibitor list spans a wide array of material and manufacturing capabilities, including:
Attendees will find bioplastics innovation throughout the show floor, including within the Materials Zone and the Recycling & Sustainability Zone. NPE2027 will also introduce Sustainability Park, an immersive destination highlighting real-world sustainability solutions, and the Sustainability Stage, where experts will explore trends in materials, design, performance, and circularity.
“The value of NPE is that attendees do not have to imagine innovation. They can see it firsthand and compare materials, evaluate equipment, meet technical experts, and connect with potential partners. With more bioplastics exhibitors in attendance than ever before, NPE2027 will offer an unmatched opportunity to understand where the market is headed and what is ready to put to work now,”saidAngela Mealy, Executive Director of NPE, PLASTICS.
Building on Award-Winning Sustainability
NPE2027’s expanded bioplastics presence is a reflection of the advancements in practical sustainability solutions across the plastics lifecycle. The show will build on NPE2024’s award-winning sustainability performance, which achieved a 100% diversion rate for plastics, cardboard and aluminum collected from the show floor and prevented more than 516,000 pounds of material from reaching landfills. The NPE Recycling Program will return in 2027 to collect and recycle plastic scrap generated on the show floor.
NPE2027 will take place May 3-7, 2027, at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida. More than 51,000 attendees and 2,200 exhibitors from over 130 countries are expected to participate.
