The Plastics Industry Association is proud to announce the inaugural William R. Carteaux Leadership Award. Honoring the values Bill Carteaux stood for—unity, dedication, perseverance, and selflessness—this new award will go to an industry professional who has achieved distinction working for the betterment of the plastics industry.
Prospective candidates are nominated by their peers, family, or friends.
On December 10, 2018 we lost an incredible leader, colleague and friend. Our President & CEO Bill Carteaux passed away due to complications from acute myeloid leukemia (AML), the disease he had been fighting with determination and courage.
Bill was more than just an inspiring, larger-than-life leader for our industry. Bill was a dear friend to each of us who were lucky to have known him.
Tributes to Bill have poured in from around the world and from every corner of the plastics industry:
PLASTICS has set up an email account to collect tributes, memories, stories and photos of Bill from those that knew him. Share your story by emailing [email protected].
Over the last few years, Bill had taken on the mission of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society as his own—and his legacy continues to shine through the InvinciBill fundraiser.
Join us in remembrance by donating in support of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Light The Night event. Get Involved!
