From Plastics Processing to Custom Recycling Solutions: Inside Gerald Kincer’s Journey at eFactor3

March 24, 2026

Gerald Kincer began serving as Vice President of Sales at eFactor3 LLC at the start of 2026. eFactor3 is a turnkey supplier of custom recycling solutions for the plastics, waste, and alternative fuels industries across North America, delivering complete systems that optimize recovery, reduce contamination, and improve efficiency. The company provides equipment and solutions including shredding and sorting technologies, recycling equipment, dry wash systems, rentals, and more. In his role, Gerald leads sales strategy and execution, overseeing forecasting, revenue performance, KPI analysis, territory development, competitive positioning, and alignment with marketing on trade shows and growth initiatives.

Gerald earned his bachelor’s degree in business management from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke, where he also competed as a collegiate wrestler. His path into the plastics industry began unexpectedly after an interview with Vecoplan, an opportunity that launched his career in plastics processing and recycling equipment. He credits several mentors for shaping his journey, including Troy Shaffer of Southern Industrial Equipment and Dana Darley of Darley Extrusion Solutions Inc., who helped him develop a strong technical understanding of plastics processing and equipment systems. Through FLiP, he connected with Sam Rajkovich of PiovanGroup, who has mentored him on executive-level leadership, strategic thinking, and personal development.

Gerald enjoys seeing how the products people use every day are made and takes pride in helping customers solve complex processing challenges that drive better efficiency and results. He believes one of the industry’s biggest challenges today is the global oversupply of virgin resin, which makes it economically difficult for recycled materials to compete. He sees progress coming through investment in chemical recycling technologies, implementation of minimum recycled content standards and tax incentives, and the development of effective EPR programs that strengthen both supply and demand for recycled materials.

Gerald has been actively involved in FLiP for nearly two years, participating in the Mentorship Program, attending meetups, and now serving as the Vice Chair of the Engagement Task Group. He values the relationships, shared experiences, and leadership development opportunities the community provides. When asked to name one plastic product he couldn’t live without, he points to his suitcase essential for traveling to meet customers and partners across the industry.

Outside of work, Gerald enjoys spending time with his wife, Lauren, and their two children, Cameron and Griffin. He is an avid golfer and college football fan, enjoys reading, and remains passionate about growing as a leader while contributing to the future of the plastics and recycling industries.
