ANSI/PLASTICS B151.1-2017 Safety Requirements for Injection Molding Machines

The primary objective of this standard is to ensure the safety of personnel involved in the use of injection molding machines. It establishes requirements for the manufacture and use of these machines. This standard is a revised version that combines two existing standards: ANSI/SPI B151.1-2007, which covers safety requirements for horizontal clamp injection molding machines, and ANSI/SPI B151.29-2014, which covers safety requirements for vertical clamp injection molding machines. The combined standard replaces and supersedes both previous standards.
