Preparing Material Safety Data Sheets, Hazard Determination

This Guidance Document by the MSDS Task Force of SPI’s OHEIC assists the plastics industry in preparing MSDSs and labels in accordance with OSHA’s Hazard Communication Standard. It provides guidance on hazard determination, using definitions in the HCS, and adheres to the ANSI standard for MSDS presentation. While not an industry standard, it offers insights and approaches to meet OSHA requirements.
