PLASTICS to host Executive Briefing and Press Conference at 2025 K Show

Washington, D.C. — The Plastics Industry Association (PLASTICS), producer of NPE: The Plastics Show, will host an Executive Briefing and Press Conference at K Show 2025 on Friday, October 10, at 11:30 AM in Düsseldorf, Germany. The event will feature the unveiling of the NPE2027 theme and the release of the 2025 Global Trends Report.

Speakers will include:

  • Matt Seaholm, PLASTICS President & CEO
  • Angela Mealy, NPE Executive Director
  • Dr. Perc Pineda, PLASTICS Chief Economist
  • Stephanie Strategos Polis, PLASTICS Vice President of Public Affairs

The NPE2027 theme underscores NPE’s role as the premier platform for showcasing breakthrough technologies, advancing sustainability, and connecting the global plastics supply chain. Building on the record-setting success of NPE2024, NPE2027 will highlight how innovation and collaboration are shaping the future of the industry.

Dr. Perc Pineda will also present highlights from the 2025 Global Trends Report, the industry’s only analysis of U.S. plastics exports and imports across all four key sectors—resin, products, machinery, and molds. The report includes unique insights into the flow of resins and plastics embedded in goods that the U.S. both exports and imports, offering a one-of-a-kind look at global plastics trade.
