As sustainability expectations continue to evolve across customers, regulators, investors, supply chain partners, and employees, companies need more than general awareness; they need a shared understanding of how ESG, circularity, materials innovation, responsible sourcing, reporting, and policy developments connect to the realities of the plastics value chain.
Our first course, Navigating ESG in the Plastics Industry, is designed for sustainability professionals and practitioners across the plastics value chain who are responsible for understanding ESG expectations and turning them into practical action. The course provides a focused overview of the regulatory, reporting, data collection, procurement, and communications considerations shaping ESG work today, with content tailored specifically to the realities of plastic manufacturing, materials, supply chains, customer expectations, and market pressures.
Across six lessons, participants will build a stronger understanding of how to track relevant requirements, evaluate standards and frameworks, prepare for voluntary disclosures, collect and assure ESG data, engage suppliers, and communicate sustainability progress clearly and credibly. The course is intended to support both day-to-day practitioners and broader team training by translating complex ESG concepts into practical guidance that can be applied within a plastics industry context.
