ANSI/SPI B151.7-2014 Safety Requirements for Extrusion Machines

This standard applies to extrusion machines used in the plastics industry. Both suppliers and users of extrusion machinery are required to conduct a risk assessment during the manufacturing, maintenance, and use of the machinery. Deviations from the standard should be supported by a documented risk assessment. It’s important to note that this standard does not cover the safety requirements for ancillary equipment used with extrusion machines.
