Stacked Box Compression Test

This method provides a procedure for evaluating the loss in compressive strength of boxes when stacked in typical warehouse stacking patterns. It also addresses the additional loss in stacking strength when boxes are stacked on uneven surfaces such as warehouse pallets. By subjecting the stacked boxes to compressive forces representative of real-world stacking conditions, this method measures the resilience and load-bearing capacity of the boxes. The results help assess the suitability of the boxes for storage and transportation, considering the potential challenges of stacking and uneven surfaces.
