At the first-ever OCS Conference (OCS CON) in 2024, over one hundred individuals came together to recognize the inaugural recipients of the OCS Difference Maker Award: Brittany Darras, Senior Sustainability Manager at Braskem; Gina James, Environmental Specialist at Chevron Phillips Chemical; and Anna Ross, Sustainability Director – Packaging & Specialty Plastics at Dow Chemical. Presented during the September event in Houston, Texas, this award was created to honor individuals who have demonstrated exceptional efforts to minimize plastic resin loss in operations.
Whether by developing new approaches to mitigate resin loss or driving meaningful culture change within their organizations, these recipients showcased industry leadership in protecting the environment and promoting operational excellence.
