Quadri Lambo has been with Shibaura Machine America as a Senior Sales Operations Coordinator for just under two years. Shibaura Machine America manufactures heavy machinery equipment across several divisions, including injection molding, machine tools, die casting, nano machining technology, and MachinetCloud solutions. In his role within the injection molding division, Quadri supports the sales team by managing CRM operations, assisting representatives and direct sales staff, and coordinating inside sales activities for machine orders.
Quadri earned his Associate of Arts degree from Harper Community College before receiving a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Northern Illinois University.
His introduction to the plastics industry came unexpectedly while searching for a new opportunity in 2024. Although he did not initially realize the role was connected to plastics, he quickly discovered how broad and innovative the industry is and has enjoyed learning more ever since.
Quadri credits his coworkers, along with the networking connections he made at trade shows and events, with helping him grow professionally within the industry. What he enjoys most about plastics are the endless opportunities to learn and the wide range of industries the sector supports. His experience has also changed his perspective on plastics, giving him a greater appreciation for the role they play in everyday life and the global economy.
Quadri believes one of the biggest challenges facing the industry today is public misconception around plastics and sustainability. He feels more education is needed to help younger generations better understand the value plastics bring to modern life and manufacturing.
Quadri joined FLiP at the beginning of 2026 and has already participated in meetups, keynote speaking events, and the industry’s Spring Meeting and Fly-In in Washington, D.C. He values the opportunity to connect with both young professionals and experienced leaders across the industry.
Outside of work, Quadri enjoys exercising, playing video games on his PlayStation 5, and spending time with friends and family.
